159, as described by Sergeant Terrett. I beg that His Excellency
the Governor may see fit to exercise his clemency in this case,
and allow me to retire on such pension as he thinks fit, in
consideration of my 21 years faithful service to the British
Government. At the present time, I could retire on a pension of
Rs. 30 a month, and in 2 years time I would be due for a full
pension of Rs. 45. I have served 17 years in the Hongkong,
Police, and have been 13 years without any report. I have also
served 4 years in the Army.
